Curtis R. Strahan, Lac is a Diplomate in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  He received a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, Albuquerque, NM.

Curtis maintains private practices in both Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, Iowa.  He is a faculty member of the Shiatsu Clinic/School where he teaches oriental medical theory and pulse diagnosis to students of Shiatsu and Massage therapy.

He specializes in Japanese acupuncture/moxibustion due to its effectiveness in treating both chronic and acute disorders.  He has also trained extensively in Shiatsu, Chinese Therapeutic Massage, Chinese Acupuncture and French Auricular Therapy.

In addition to acupuncture, Curtis is available to recommend herbal supplements for appropriate conditions and provide counseling on nutrition and lifestyle changes from an oriental medicine perspective.
